I said what man?
I am shooting stars like a mad man
But the fuckers won’t come down
And I’ve been swimming in the open sea
Like a sailor left to drown
Now the lights are closing in
And I know the waves are breaking out
In a shore, far away
I just want to scream and shout
This time, Hell yeah
The candle is burning at both ends
Dry land, not in sight
And I won’t go without a fight
This damn thing has worn me out
And I just can’t keep up your pace
Would I catch my breath again
If I could forget your face.
Will I sink myself again
Breathless in half empty bottles?
Left to mould in a bottomless grave
Strike a match to burn the ashes.

I love it. Have to agree with still bummed: this packs an emotional punch but rocks hard. I've played this whole album repeatedly over the last week which is unusual for me. Exhilarating, poignant, intelligent, melodic. Robin Ward
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
